bisbee, arizona

mining is a big part of arizona history and many of the towns were founded because they were near copper, silver, or gold deposits. bisbee, arizona, founded in 1880, is one of these towns. in fact, at one point, the copper queen mine in bisbee was the most lucrative copper mine in arizona. unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore the queen mine, but the town is super cute.

next time we go to bisbee we're thinking about staying at the copper queen hotel, as it is supposed to have cute rooms and bisbee is said to have a fun night life scene, but if you're only there for the day, stop in anyways and get a cold drink.
