i was recently at an alumni event for vanderbilt, and i was shocked to find out that rcg and his friends don't know their alma mater. i find it shocking because everyone who goes to or went to william and mary knows our alma mater. everyone. it's our jam. we sing it at football games and at ceremonies. we sing it while walking home tipsy from the delis. it's what we do -- we sing the alma mater. i think it takes two weeks, a month tops, for the freshman to learn the alma mater, that's how popular it is. and that's how much we love w&m.

yesterday i played the alma mater a lot. because yesterday was william and mary's 320th birthday.
it made me feel a little nostalgic and i wanted to share the alma mater with you.
